Schools InLagos Get N4m Maintenance Allowance

Every public school in Lagos State will now receive about N4 million each as annual maintenance grant.
Governor Babatunde Fashola disclosed this during the week at the commissioning of a block of 18 classrooms at Ayedere Ajibola Senior Secondary School in Ketu.
Fashola added that the school, which is one of twenty four schools that have been completed and ready for commissioning, underscores the commitment of the state government to put in place infrastructure.
Fashola commended teachers in the state for their selfless efforts adding that the state government would continue to make the welfare of teachers its priority.
He stated that the state government is committed to the training and empowerment of youths by providing an enabling environment for them to attain their full potential in life.
